Gatherings of late

March 18, 2026

This is a visual exploration of recent gatherings that stirred inner child wonder. And how is that relevant to my ceramics practice, one may ask? I draw from lived experience to create. Turning raw clay into finished ceramics is an act of play that gathers references, as well as a childlike curiosity about my surroundings. To put it less cryptically, scroll down to take a look at the latest finds from my phone gallery.

1. Otter tank. 2. Childhood dessert and my mother feeling like a child again. 3. Angel numbers chasing me. 4. Crying with The Princess and the Frog. 5. Pancakes with a lazy twist. 6. The starting point of my wall altar. 7. First beach day of the year.
